We are hiring — full teams for both our campuses, opening in January and September 2027.
Careers

You went into teaching
to teach. Not for everything else.

Small groups instead of classes of 25. Four mornings a week instead of never-ending days. Real freedom in how you teach, within a demanding framework of methods. If you have left French state education — or are thinking of leaving — but still want to work with children, this page is for you.

Four roles, two teams to build

Two campuses open in 2027, and we are building both teams at the same time, with several openings for each role. Terms, hours and pay are set out at your first interview.

One per campus · Carry-le-Rouet: January 2027 · Meyreuil: September 2027

Campus head (teaching role)

You head a campus and teach there too. You lead the on-site team, run the individual learning paths (mastery maths, spaced retrieval, Socratic discussion, portfolio) and look after our relationships with families and partner clubs. You are also the school's designated head under the French Education Code.

  • Required: at least five years' teaching experience in a school, a legal requirement for heading a school in France. Primary teachers on leave of absence, on secondment or changing career are particularly welcome.
  • Desirable: experience of leading a team, working English and an interest in the science of learning.
  • Working pattern: on site for all four teaching mornings (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday), plus time for running the campus · 36 weeks · Carry-le-Rouet or Meyreuil.

Bilingual primary teacher

You take charge of a group of pupils and see them through the whole year. You teach French, maths and science — the last two in English, with support from our English-speaking specialist. Our methods give you a clear framework: 25-minute sprints, full mastery before moving on, spaced retrieval and a portfolio.

  • Profile: a qualified primary teacher — currently in post, on leave of absence, on secondment or changing career — or a primary teacher trained outside France. Fluent English is essential, since you will be teaching in it.
  • Working pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30 am – 1 pm · 36 weeks · Carry-le-Rouet or Meyreuil.

Lunchtime and club escort supervisor

Once morning lessons are over, you supervise pupils during lunch and a quiet break. After the early-afternoon workshop, you take them to their partner clubs, where the session starts at 2.45 pm. It is a position of trust: families rely on you at the busiest point of their child's day.

  • Profile: experience of working with children, for example in holiday clubs, sports coaching or after-school care. A French youth-work qualification (BAFA) or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Working pattern: four days a week, around the middle of the day · 36 weeks · can be combined with other work.
Shared across both campuses

Specialist teachers

You teach a few hours a week on each campus, on a rotating basis, in your own field.

  • English: a native speaker or C2-level user of English, you lead immersive Cambridge Primary sessions and co-teach the science blocks in English. Training in Cambridge resources is provided.
  • Science and technology: experimental method, coding and robotics.
  • Financial literacy: money, saving and running a mini-business, always through hands-on projects.
  • Spanish: a native speaker or C2-level user of Spanish, you lead two workshops a week, starting with spoken Spanish for the youngest pupils.
  • Art, music: an artist or musician used to working with children, you lead a hands-on workshop every week.
  • Profile: an expert in your field who enjoys sharing what you know with 6 to 11-year-olds. The role fits alongside your main job.

What we expect

  • High standards on the fundamentals — reading, writing and arithmetic are non-negotiable
  • Commitment to our methods: mastery learning, spaced retrieval, short sprints, portfolio
  • A taste for data: progress is steered by evidence, not impressions
  • A professional, grown-up dialogue with families and with pupils' coaches

What we offer

  • Class sizes that make the job possible again
  • Real freedom in how you teach, within a clear framework of methods
  • Tools that work for you: adaptive platforms, dashboards, ready-made content
  • A founding project: you are not joining an institution, you are building one
